Hello Everyone! Welcome back to Fariza's Corner! On this website, you can browse through my photography collection :) I would like to share with you some photography tips that I find useful when taking photos. The pictures that I mention below can be found on this sight.
1- Take it from an angle: Take your photos from an angle that you find unique to you that will make your photo stand out. I took a picture of winter leaves from an angle that captured the scene of leaves and frozen ice. I named the picture, The footprints of a fallen leave which you could find on this sight.
2- Zoom in to details: Take a picture of an object such as a leave and take a picture of the object in closeup so you can see the intricate details of it. I took a picture of a leave and named it, The path towards the sun.
3- Contrast the light- When taking a photo, you want to make sure that there is just the right amount of light. Try contrasting the light and put certain amounts of light in the picture. Starting from a shadow and turning the shadow into light. I took a picture where I contrasted the light. I named it, The rainbow uncovers the sun. I took a few more pictures using the same contrasting of light technique. You can take a look at them on this sight.
4- Sizing of the object- Try changing the size of the object in your photo. Take a small object and take two more slightly bigger sizes of the object. Take them side by side, behind each other and the possibilities are endless! I took a picture of a few rocks in different sizes at the beach on the lake. I named it, Rocks of all ages.
I hope you found those tips useful when taking photos. Feel free to share your photography and it could be featured on Fariza's Corner! Happy summer holidays! Until next time.....
